Skills

In view of the demographic data indicating that majority population of Commonwealth Asian countries are in their youth, falling in an age group appropriate to directly participate in economic progress, it is absolutely imperative that we have a system in place that systematically skills a person and produces appropriately skilled youth in sync with their cultural context, aspirations and the demands of the market. CEMCA will strive to increase access to good quality vocational training digital content aimed at developing the skills of the youth and especially the marginalized communities especially for women, girls and person with disabilities (PwD). CEMCA will also focus on building capacity of vocational trainers, making TVET aspirational for the youth and mainstreaming the skilled and semi-skilled workers. Within the initiative of "Skills for Work " CEMCA will also focus on using Community Media as a powerful tool to bring about social change leading to sustainable development.
