Country Focal Points
Each Minister of Education in the Commonwealth Asian Countries nominates a senior official as CEMCA Focal Point. The role of the Focal Point is to interact with CEMCA, co-ordinate with other ministries, disseminate CEMCA-related information to interested stakeholders, and keep the Ministers and other senior officials briefed about CEMCA’s work.
Triennial regional meetings of Focal Points enable CEMCA to get first-hand information of country priorities that contribute to the development of CEMCA’s next plan. CEMCA will continue to engage with the Focal Points, encouraging them to act as in-country advocates.
