Futuristic IT skills workshops organized for Faculties

Digital disruption is transforming every industry and the demand for futuristic skill courses like AI/ML, Azure/AWS, Data Analytics, and Python is gaining momentum. The Indian government is putting a lot of emphasis on promoting them as these courses have a promising future for creating job opportunities.

With the advent of technology and advancements in the education sector, the need of the hour is to create new ways of teaching and develop a futuristic technical skill set among the members of teaching faculties of various institutions who in turn may mentor and guide learners. Acquiring a range of skills shall enable the faculty members to impart education and skills with an improved Teaching-Learning Process.

Recognizing the above, CEMCA-COL associated with the Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA), an institution of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. organized ten 5-day workshops on various future skills and advanced teaching methodologies in different districts of Andhra Pradesh between March and June 2022. 481 technical faculties (Male-306, Female-175) of various private and government engineering colleges of Andhra Pradesh attended these workshops.

These training workshops were conducted in a blended mode model with the use of various ICT tools like Google Classroom, Google forms, etc. to make learning more informative. CEMCA received huge appreciation from colleges and teaching communities of Andhra Pradesh for organizing these workshops. These workshops helped the participants in sharpening their teaching skills and get hands-on experience in advanced IT skills.
