CEMCA supports Karnataka State Open University for OER Policy and implementation strategy.

CEMCA is supporting Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru to Adopt Open Educational Resources (OER) through implementing institutional policy. In this regard, a policy taskforce has been constituted by the KSOU and they are engaged in drafting of the OER policy using CEMCA-COL template. A workshop to develop the policy was organised during 28-29 April 2022. Vice Chancellor Dr. S Vidyashankar in his address encouraged the taskforce team for successful drafting of the policy and requested faculty members to use and create OER in developing learning material. The taskforce committee includes Chair Persons of the Schools, Department Heads, Dean Academics, Registrar Evaluation, Registrar Administration, Director CIQA, Head Library, Director IT, and others. The committee discussed during the two day workshop and drafted the policy, including three year strategic plan for OER implementation and submitted to CEMCA for further review and comments for finalisation. Dr Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Senior Programme Officer (Education) from CEMCA, facilitated the workshop for OER policy and implementation plan development.
