The inauguration culminated with the screening of a selection of entries from the Community Media Challenge 2023 (CMC 2023) and insightful experience sharing by some of the award winners.

In the workshop that followed the inauguration, 50 students were provided hands-on training on various features of documentary and film-making. They also explored multifaceted aspects of using AI in filmmaking, encompassing areas such as fact-checking and social media monitoring, advanced search techniques, and information retrieval techniques. For them, the workshop served as a platform for holistic learning and skill enhancement in leveraging AI's potential within the domain of filmmaking.
