  I, Neela Jagannathan, represent the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia, New Delhi and am responsible for Creation of their Database of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Professionals in Commonwealth Asian Region. My mandate is profile professionals working in Open Universities, Continuing and Correspondence Institutions, Open Schools and private providers of distance education courses.  

This database will be used by the distance teaching institutions in Commonwealth countries for selecting consultants and resource persons required by them. I request you therefore to respond positively and get listed on CEMCA ODL Database for getting opportunities to serve national and international institutions in future.   

Please find attached herewith the questionnaire for the collection of information. You can return the filled-in questionnaire to me. Alternatively, it is also available online on the CEMCA website http://www.cemca.org You can download, save and mail the filled in form on my email ID neelaj23@yahoo.com Please do not forget to attach your complete CV and your identity card size photograph with it.  

As far as my profile goes, I was the Assistant Librarian of BRAOU from 1984-87 and Deputy/Chief Librarian of IGNOU from 1987-2003. Since retirement I have worked as a Consultant for GDENET with CEMCA, New Delhi; Gender Micro-site with COL, Vancouver; and now again with CEMCA for the Creation of Database of Experts in Open and Distance Learning (ODL).   

This is a time-bound project and I would request you to send me an early reply.
