ITEM VALUES

This form enables to keep track of the list of values generated while making entries through the programmes, shots or inventory modules. As certain fields in these modules like tape type, technical format, subject, language, country etc. allow the user to either select from the existing list or enter a new value for the field. A list of unique values is generated for the field.

The librarian can go through these values and edit or delete them in case they are not being referred by any programme, shot or inventory record. Possible new values can be added for the fields so that while making record entries no efforts have to be wasted in typing the values which are obviously required.

To look for the list of values under a particular field, select the respective field from list box on the left side. The list of values is shown in the listbox on the right side. Record for each value can be edited by selecting the value in the values list box and clicking the appropriate button.
